MyLovely vs PlayFlux: Save, Opt Out or Delete Before Leaving?

Separate keeping creative files, stopping model-improvement use and closing an account rather than expecting one exit action to do all three.

One exit button cannot answer three intentions

You want to pause an original character project. You may want to keep accepted images, stop optional improvement uses of your conversations, or close the account. Those are different outcomes, and doing them in the wrong order can lose the project without achieving the privacy preference.

Start with the files you actually want to keep. PlayFlux’s FAQ says deleting gallery content or the account permanently removes generated media, and recommends downloading it first. Its approximate 365-day storage statement conflicts with the privacy policy’s 60 days for generated media and 15 for uploads. Do not wait for either deadline as if it were assured.

A three-action exit record

Intention Specific action or evidence
Keep the project Save accepted assets and a short brief outside the account
Reduce improvement use Use the provider’s published opt-out route, where applicable
End the account or future payments Manage deletion and billing as separate account decisions

For MyLovely, Privacy section 9, under its GDPR choices, supplies a concrete opt-out route: email [email protected] with subject Model Improvement Opt-Out. The policy specifically identifies EU users’ improvement opt-out and says core service, safety and legal processing continue. That request is not the same as removing every record or stopping a subscription.

Its Terms separately say to cancel subscriptions in account settings before renewal. Preserve the current paid-period end. Deleting files is not evidence that billing has stopped.

Closing an account is not proof of immediate total erasure

MyLovely’s privacy policy describes account/basic-log retention through the account lifetime and up to 3–5 years after last activity unless deletion is requested earlier. Payment/tax records have a separate 7–10-year window, and safety records follow their own necessity. These categories should not be collapsed into one “chat retention” number.

PlayFlux’s FAQ makes a broad account-deletion claim, while its older privacy policy also describes legal and service-provider processing. Its cited pages do not establish the same model-improvement opt-out mechanism as MyLovely. That difference in documentation does not prove an opt-out is impossible; use its current privacy contact if that preference is essential.

Keep the request, date and response for the action you chose. Do not send an entire sensitive transcript when a concise description identifies the account request.

This workflow concerns ordinary creative files. PlayFlux’s older Terms and current positioning conflict over adult generation; no account-exit step resolves that policy conflict.

Choose the exit according to the intended result: a saved project, a narrower processing preference or a closed account. Complete and verify those separately instead of using an uncertain gallery lifetime as your backup plan.
